The people who are supposed to be patriots
Are hidden behind gear and weapons,
And violence.
While the people are hopeful, optimistic,
And too worn
To stand for ideals
Which, are then left hollow.
The system, the process will work,
Because without the people,
There is no nation .. right??
And yet, justice breaks,
And cracks,
as we crave the fair,
And, so the truth can be colored and interperated,
By whoever has words and a crayon
