For some reason
We were in a hotel,
Or was it a hospital,
With really strange customer service?
We slept in a hallway nook,
Amid strangers galore,
Including staff who insist on stretching me, in impossible movements.
And there was no reason given.
Eventually we vacated the nook
For finer digs,
With walls, and a doorway, but no door.
Just beyond a roller-coaster of a ramp.
Narrow as a hair, and steep.
And I climb
Before waking.

I am a writer with an extremely active imagination. I love learning answers to questions and what makes everything and everyone tick. I am a "Unique case, medically" if nothing else. I am flawed in my extreme aversion to failure (even when "success" isn't good for me,) but have come a long way in ditching the perfectionist mindset. I like people whose default setting toward others is compassion, an open mind, and honesty
