Her Own Hell

Whatever haunted her

From that era that was a C.I.N.O.

childhood in name only.

Those ghosts,

Those Demons,

Have chewed through her hands

And eyes,

And her whole self.

And it has spilled over on others

And burned each one of us.

But now,

Now there is one left

And one woman’s demons,

Have taken over everything around the child

She has kept it at bay

For 15 years

At the cost of so much of her light.

But the hell has not spread.

And that may be all the justice we get.

I am a writer with an extremely active imagination. I love learning answers to questions and what makes everything and everyone tick. I am a "Unique case, medically" if nothing else. I am flawed in my extreme aversion to failure (even when "success" isn't good for me,) but have come a long way in ditching the perfectionist mindset. I like people whose default setting toward others is compassion, an open mind, and honesty
