It is struggle enough,

To be slowed and trapped by snow.

To be annoyed and inconvenienced

By a few hours without power.

But it is an entirely different lesson

to spend day(s) without heat and effective light.

A city brought to its knees by solid water.

Might do better to speak of better infrastructure,

Rather than relying on faith, that rings sharp and hollow

Echoing, unheard, off dead and dying buildings.

I am a writer with an extremely active imagination. I love learning answers to questions and what makes everything and everyone tick. I am a "Unique case, medically" if nothing else. I am flawed in my extreme aversion to failure (even when "success" isn't good for me,) but have come a long way in ditching the perfectionist mindset. I like people whose default setting toward others is compassion, an open mind, and honesty
