The way I survive
Is to plan
My future,
Career,
Home design,
Trips and adventures,
Grocery shopping lists
I plan them all
I look forward to the dim lights
And the miraculous ones.
If I don’t have a light,
I will find an ember,
And explode it
I will go on,
Dream on and plan.
I will survive
And I will find a way to thrive.
And even in the best moments,
I will look forward.
