Problem-Posing Education

If you give a person a fish they can eat for a day….

You know the saying,

So why do we try to give knowledge and thoughts,

What does treating knowledge like a dead fish to be given away, do for anyone?

Cause food poisoning, most likely.

I’ll barf it back up, at anyone who stays near,

And think I henceforth hate fish.

Why would we value something without personal meaning?

At least meaning we cannot see.

If we can engage with knowledge,

Feel it, fight with it, get intimate with it, rage about it, smell it,

Like an all in poker game,

We became fully invested,

In the short term outcome,

And the memory.

I am a writer with an extremely active imagination. I love learning answers to questions and what makes everything and everyone tick. I am a "Unique case, medically" if nothing else. I am flawed in my extreme aversion to failure (even when "success" isn't good for me,) but have come a long way in ditching the perfectionist mindset. I like people whose default setting toward others is compassion, an open mind, and honesty
