THEY can do a lot.
They can deny an opportunity,
They can walk out,
verbally rip you a new anus,

Spit in food if they help you cook,
They can realize a reason to fire you,
Start a vicious rumor.
They have a lot more power than
They get credit for,
So, don’t blame me,
If I’m hesitant to rock the boat.
I am still uncomfortable,
even as I challenge myself,
