Ruth,
I named my stuffed kangaroo
RBG too, I can give no bigger compliments.
The only thing I remember about 1993
was surgery with a girl named Stephanie.
A 5 year old with no awareness
Of your appointment.
As I grew it came,
At least partial awareness,
Of strength, wisdom, and fire.
Without a wisp of cancer
The loss I know you faced.
The woman I honored
Was polishing her edges,
While I can’t even reach mine,
Without falling over.

I am a writer with an extremely active imagination. I love learning answers to questions and what makes everything and everyone tick. I am a "Unique case, medically" if nothing else. I am flawed in my extreme aversion to failure (even when "success" isn't good for me,) but have come a long way in ditching the perfectionist mindset. I like people whose default setting toward others is compassion, an open mind, and honesty

We have the same heroine… RGB! And you named your kangaroo, of all things, after her. xo Misty

Ruth (my Roo!) Is with me on all adventures, and during medical services. She was named after RBG because Emma used to tease me for gendering all my childhood stuffed creatures as male. My Roo had to have a strong name. *upon reflection I realize greatness of “san, the roo*😘. The future will be one of unforgettable women, too💜❤🧡
