Take THAT! Law School.

Doing what works

Is a good idea,

If you know what works for you.

And there’s the rub.

I’ve been stumbling through law school,

Trying A and B and C and D,

To adapt to law school,

To show my knowledge and ability to learn.

For almost 2 months,

I am bobbing and gasping.

But, I finally bobbed into what works,

My feet are floating into alignment

with my torso.

I am bracing myself and not letting go of progress.

I am a writer with an extremely active imagination. I love learning answers to questions and what makes everything and everyone tick. I am a "Unique case, medically" if nothing else. I am flawed in my extreme aversion to failure (even when "success" isn't good for me,) but have come a long way in ditching the perfectionist mindset. I like people whose default setting toward others is compassion, an open mind, and honesty
