My mind wanders unrestricted,
Every day
And, there is no place it will not go,
Including past that pile of thoughts
Of my duties, my “to dos”
Large and small
I have to tiptoe past, so they don’t fall on me.
I used to overt my eyes most of the time,
But I have learned to treat my list, as if it has a sticky film
Such that when I wander by that stack, and look up by chance,
I cannot look away from the task I see until It’s done
And, look how far I’ve started to come.

I am a writer with an extremely active imagination. I love learning answers to questions and what makes everything and everyone tick. I am a "Unique case, medically" if nothing else. I am flawed in my extreme aversion to failure (even when "success" isn't good for me,) but have come a long way in ditching the perfectionist mindset. I like people whose default setting toward others is compassion, an open mind, and honesty
